Rising Star: Raffey Cassidy
- raffeycassidy.com -

Today I have something super fun to share – Raffey recently filmed her very first music video for the indie group The Kooks and their song Four Leaf Clover! I personally love the video and could watch it over and over again, it has a great story line:

After a traumatic bullying scene a young school girl played by Raffey Cassidy (The Killing Of A Sacred Deer, Tomorrowland) is haunted by another, mysterious, girl who takes her on a surreal and trippy journey.

Of course Raffey’s acting skills are as amazing as always. Be sure to watch the video below!

Last wednesday, Raffey got the attend the premiere of the film “L’Annee Derniere a Marienbad” during the 75th Venice Film Festival at Sala Giardino in Venice, Italy! As always, I adore the outfit Raffey wore on the red carpet, it is simple yet elegant and features a cute camera purse by Chanel. Be sure to view the new images in our gallery.

WOW! I hope you’re ready for this massive update of Raffey at the 75th Venice Film Festival in Italy! On tuesday, Raffey attended the photocall for her new film “Vox Lux” at Sala Casino alongside her co-stars Stacy Martin and Natalie Portman, as well as director Brady Corbet. She looked absolutely stunning wearing a fun dress by Louis Vuitton. I’ve added images from the event to the gallery for you to view.

After they were done posing on the red carpet, the press conference for the film took place. If you want to learn all about the film and its’ characters, you should definitely watch it.

Later that night, the official premiere for “Vox Lux” took place and Raffey stepped onto the red carpet looking like a princess, wearing a gorgeous light blue gown by Oscar de la Renta! I absolutely love this dress on her as well as the edgy hair and make up. Be sure to also view these stunning images in the gallery.

Unfortunately, Raffey’s dress kept getting tangeled as she was making her way along the red carpet, but luckily her co-stars were quick to rescue her! You can watch a portion of the red carpet event below, you can see Natalie Portman, Brady Corbet and Stacy Martin try and help Raffey fix her dress around the 1:38 minute mark:

I’m absolutely THRILLED to share images from the Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2018 advertising campaign featuring Raffey with you today! As always, Raffey looks gorgeous and each of the looks she was styled in suits her very well. I have uploaded three images from the campaign to our gallery, let’s hope we get to see more very soon!

The CONVERSATION is a series of pictures made for the arresting Autumn/Winter Miu Miu collection, shot by Alasdair McLellan.

In The CONVERSATION the Miu Miu gang is at home in suburbia, reclining against velvet drapes, sat inert on mommy’s favourite coaches. The stills present a fertile setting for these women’s imaginations, all the better to carry off their conspicuous wardrobe. If you can imagine them reading a racy paperback and listening to garage rock, all the better.

The gang is all present and correct: sisters Adwoa and Kesewa Aboah, Georgia May Jagger, Ariel Nicholson, Zoe Thaets. Because these girls are more than just models, they are joined by Hollywood’s renegade spirit, Elle Fanning and its emerging starlets, Rowan Blanchard and Raffey Cassidy.

The CONVERSATION seems to ask the question, is the 2018 Miu Miu woman being beamed in from the birth of the teenager or are they tomorrow’s people? Whichever, this girl gang means business. They are dressed in their finest, for a night on the tiles. The sense of anticipation is only heightened by their luxuriously upholstered sitting rooms. We are in an antechamber at the moment before disruption. What better way to disrupt than by style alone?

In Steel Magnolias, Dolly Parton makes the grooming observation ‘the higher the hair, the closer to God’. But what if she was wrong? There is something devilish about the exploration of the contemporary beehive. What if bad girls want to wear high hair too?

These women are ready for action. Their power is tangible, their dress immaculate. They are the leaders of the pack.

A couple of days ago, Raffey flew out to Paris, France to attend the Miu Miu Cruise Collection 2019 fashion show! She was originally invited to simply sit back and enjoy the show, but at the last minute Miuccia Prada decided to have some of the actresses who were invited walk the runway, including Raffey, Gwendoline Christie, Uma Thurman and Chloé Sevigny! Raffey of course agreed right away and looked absolutely stunning while modeling on a runway for the very first time. I have uploaded images from the show to our gallery for you to view, you definitely don’t want to miss these!

Luckily, Miu Miu has uploaded a video from the show to their Youtube channel, so if you’re interested in actually seeing Raffey walk the runway at the Hotel Regina in Paris instead of just the images, you can watch it below! She appears around the 1:35 minute mark:

After the show everyone came together to celebrate! Raffey of course also attended the after party, where she hung out with fellow young actresses Sadie Sink and Rowan Blanchard, who also got to walk during the show. The girls look like they had a fun night and enjoyed their time in Paris! Check out the images in our gallery.

Hey everyone, I have some more British Vogue content to share with you today! A couple of days ago they shared a quick but fun behind the scenes video on their Instagram account from Raffey’s photoshoot for her feature as a Vogue Darling, in which we get to see her pose in different outfits. Be sure to watch it below, I just love seeing how much fun Raffey has in front of the camera!

Earlier today, Raffey’s Vogue Darling feature was posted online! We now have the image of Raffey shot for British Vogue by Leon Mark in a higher quality, which I have uploaded to our gallery. I have also uploaded Raffey’s selfie with the cute filter which was featured in the article as well. You can also read an excerpt of the article below!

In the June issue of British Vogue, 15-year-old Raffey Cassidy is the latest rising star to step into the role of Vogue Darling.

Raffey Cassidy is 15 years old but her screen credits already read like those of an actress more than twice her age. Later this year she’ll star in Brady Corbet’s Vox Lux alongside Natalie Portman and Jude Law, while previous co-stars include Nicole Kidman (The Killing of a Sacred Deer), George Clooney (Tomorrowland), Brad Pitt (Allied) and Charlize Theron (Snow White and the Huntsman). Until now her age has meant mainly “child of” roles, but as she enters her late teens, Manchester-born Cassidy is excited by the new shift in Hollywood. “There are a lot of interesting and cool parts at the moment, especially about the teenage experience. It’s a good time to be an actress.” What label would Britain’s next screen sensation choose to collect her Oscar in? “Chloé, Louis Vuitton, Chanel… or Topshop.”

“Stacy Martin gave me one book, Johnny Panic and the Bible of Dreams by Sylvia Plath, at the start of filming Vox Lux and another, Just Kids by Patti Smith, at the end. The Plath one is now my favourite.”

“I absolutely love hoodies, especially skate ones. I used to skateboard to school but I don’t any more because it’s all uphill.” […]
